The moment you think someone is taking advantage of you, stop giving. We never do anything for completely selfish reasons, it makes us feel good to help someone else, but as soon as they begin to expect it, it's time to move on.

I do a ton of charity work and love it all and I am in sales so "service" is something I do all day and whether money is exchanged or not - the reasons to stopping are the same. I have in fact "fired" paying clients because they were pains in the ass.

Thank you for posting this! I agree money should be used to help. If they want it and want help. Not all tribes want help. I respect their decision whatever it may be.

I have driven through many reservations in the SW USA. It is sad to see the conditions NATIVE Americans live in. We as a country should be ashamed for what others have done in the past to this individuals that where here first! We weren't and we took, took, took!
