Perhaps, I agree, things like family commitments will stop you from getting there sooner. But can they keep you forever?

@varsha - ha ha. be careful what you wish for! ;)
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetWow. I studied in this govt-sponsored residential school in India where we were offered a choice to finish our 9th and 10th grades in a different part of the country, under the "national integration" program. Feels great to know that idea is being validated scientifically. Sure enough, we used to fight a lot with each other, but we did make some great friends and learned two different languages in the process.
Reply | Original | Permalink | Tweetvasudev, you sound a little rational, and you should know better than to make those remarks. it’s a sign of protest, in a peaceful but provocative way. it’s a way to say “you don’t scare us, honey”. bihari might be ranting a bit, but he’s correct in what he’s trying to imply. morality is a personal issue, as long as it doesn’t impunge on others’. so you keep your morality to yourself, and I’ll keep mine.
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetDude. It’s hard to see which part of your blog post are you quoting or which part is your own opinion. You hardly make any sense as to what you’re implying the post. Why don’t you go back to copy-pasting press releases instead of trying to do social commentary? That’s a journalist’s job. Or at least a blogger who can communicate clearly.

Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetLol. I was very curious, but after seeing people’s reaction on video, and some descriptions, decided I’m happier not going there. Kinda like Goatse, I guess. Some things cannot be ‘unseen’ :).
Reply | Original | Permalink | Tweet@thuy, as an Indian, I don't see how it is a waste of resources. Technology independence is something we have always been taking seriously. I for one, as a taxpayer, am glad that my money is going there, however inefficiently. I'm proud of what ISRO has done, given it's limited resources.
