Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetSome do, some don't. I've learned about this particular fact from several gentlemen with whom I work that have been in the mens-wear business for over 30 years each. As I'm sure you're aware, it's hardly common knowledge.

In some relationships the man is the one who is emotional and the woman is the rock. Is this wrong? No, absolutely not. I would say that for a man to really be a rock, he has to know himself and be honest with himself and his spouse. Not all men are emotionally stolid, nor should all men be. Yet still, a man can be a rock because he’s transparent with his spouse and secure in himself.
Being self-secure, self-honest and honest with others is, in my opinion, the true way for any man to be a real rock in a relationship, regardless of his emotional temperament.
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetThanks Sidney. I'm above water both literally and figuratively.
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetCrap, I didn't even think about that. Thanks for the heads up.
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetlolI agree though. Always always always buy pants that fit. Period. Paragraph.
Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetFor sure there's an optimal cuff size. That being said, the purpose of the buttons isn't to accomodate a watch. If you have a 35" arm then you get a 34/35 shirt and button it in the looser button. If you have a 34" arm then you use the tighter button (generally). If you want to use a loose button on one sleeve to accomodate a watch and use the tight one on the non-watch wrist that's fine (to each his own), but that wasn't the intent of the second button even though they can be used that way. That said, if you have odd size of neck and/or wrist any decent tailor should be able to fix that issue for you without requiring a custom made shirt. Will it be the same quality as a custom made shirt? No way. But you'll get a very good product without a huge price tag.Your site is great, btw, just created a dress shirt for myself with basic settings. If that's what you mean by "custom dress shirt" I'm sure I'd be a very satisfied customer :) But with an $85 price tag that's a bit steep for a lot of people. On the other hand, getting a shirt of the rack and having it altered would be about half that price.I understand that a custom made shirt will obviously be a better shirt, no question. Just pointing out that it's not a dichotomy of "get fitted off the rack or buy a custom shirt". There's a third option.

Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetNo problem man, I'm glad you found it useful.

Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetIt was the tank, period, end of story. Good tanks are hard to find, and good DK tanks are even rarer. The melee warrior was a moron and didn't help the situation, but I'd honestly rather run with a good DK tank than any other tank in CoS. The healer should have been standing near the tank, not far away like healers are used to doing. DK throws down a DnD and the healer stands in it, that solves the issue of mobs beating on him. If the healer doesn't want to get up close and personal with the tank, preferring to stand at a distance then the tank throws a DnD wherever the healer is standing and uses blood boil and whatever other AoE damage he has. If he's frost spec he shouldn't have an issue with AoE threat. If he's any other spec then that's probably one source of his problems.
You did the right thing though, of popping the odd arcane blast to kill stuff beating on the healer. Also, my mantra in any instance/raid is "There's no problem that exists which more DPS can't solve." CoS is a bit different from other instances. There's a lot of running, and a lot of adds. CoS success is all about the tank and his ability to tank mobs and keep an eye on his healer.
