My iPod was clicking and whining and showing a sad iPod icon, so my dad opened it (twice) and after the second time, plugging it into the computer and restoring it did the trick. It’s now syncing, I pray that all goes well, but this looks like it’s going well.
Again, thanks so much for publicizing this trick, I would’ve needed a new iPod without it. External thanks, really.
