Thanks Michael. Like I said, I think it will change a bit w/ Parker and Ginobili back, so that will be interesting to watch.

Nice article David. I noticed as well that Duncan has taken more shots outside his normal comfort level and has been pretty accurate. That hot spots feature is nice and is worth the time to go check out from time to time.

I use studio monitor headphones for monitoring, but just some Logitech Z4i’s connected to my iMac for casual listening. I would stick with your current speakers unless you are going to be that unhappy knowing that there’s a difference. Oh and btw, the generalization that M-Audio sucks is ridiculous. I work with M-Audio gear and other audio gear all the time and my m-audio stuff has performed very well.

Scott,

I bought the strap after hearing about it a number of places. It sounded like a great idea, but didn’t quite work for me. I used it for a photowalk and after a few hours, I was back to my regular strap. It slid all over the place and never seemed to sit in place. I also had the twisting problem. Overall, for me the sliding made it uncomfortable, I spent too much time trying to straighten it out and I was worried about it falling. I decided to give it another shot and tried it a few more times with the same results. It was just taking up space in my camerabag so I took it out. I may end up giving it to my uncle and buying an optotech.

Did he pass it back out, then ask for it again and then pass it back out and ask for the ball again. Ok this reminded me too much of that scene in semi-pro

I can see those comparisons, but he is still an average to slightly above average shooter. Right now his reputation exceeds his production. I just wonder how well he can find his shot when you know Pop will play him randomly and sparingly. I’m rooting that he sticks, but I’m just not betting on it yet.

70 weeks ago Michael on Will Manu Be Ready?

garchulfo, well put, sir. I completely agree with you on this one, except playing for ungrateful idiots part. Don’t let Jeff represent Spurs fans as a whole. I’m a huge Manu fan and appreciate what he has done for this team. I don’t understand how anyone can focus on one play without seeing everything that came before it. The Spurs were getting spanked badly and Manu got them back in the game. It must be convenient to have selective thinking. Without Manu, we don’t win the 2005 championship. We lost that series against the Mavs because the rest of our players decided not to show up during the game or over time. I think it’s funny how Jeff and some others can be fair-weathered fans with Manu but bash fair-weathered Spurs fans in general. We expect him to save us all too often and when he can’t save us, he is a “fucking idiot and moron.” I also don’t expect anyone who has had the luxury to live in our country their entire lives to know what it means to represent your country. To us, the NBA is everything. To international players it’s not. Again, I would have done the exact same thing and I’m sure even Jeff would have. The NBA is a business and one day you can be the coaches favorite and the next day you find yourself being traded. One day you are a fan favorite, and the next day you are being called a “fucking idiot.” Yea, I would rather represent my country. I like my job, but that’s like someone said I screwed my employer because I went to fight in a war. I understand that’s taking it to the extreme, but we have to understand that the NBA is a job and a business. My last point is that Manu did not “fuck” the Spurs season, the front office did. Jeff, you and I said even before Manu made the decision to play in the olympics that this would be a tough season, especially since the front office did not address our needs. I know I said that would be my last point, but I lied. I just have to get this out. I wonder if Tim Duncan would have been scrutinized as much if he had been injured in the Olympics when he was playing a few years back. Do you think anyone would call Kobe a fucking idiot if he had been injured in the Olympics. I doubt it. Why, because he was playing for the US and the makes it right to some people.
