US technology embargoed from China and the inertia in providing an alternative. This meant IE was the only choice, and then Maxthon came along. It will be hard to displace local Maxthon as the "install yourself" browser.

Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetI am as surprised as some of your other comments. Firefox on TV? "Get your lazy butt off the couch. Install Firefox 2!"I don't want any virii. With IE 7, to everyday people, Firefox is NOT a better, more usable, safer web browser. Cooler? Maybe, but Microsoft has moves there as well.If you do want to talk business, marketing does not seem nearly as interesting to me as distribution. I trust there are a lot, lot more channels then just the GY and Nike.

Have you considered adding the Akismet widget to your sidebar to show off just how much SPAM never sees the light of day?

Are favorite park has been Rancho San Antonio, though it is quite busy.I would be surprised if Flickr does not have geotagging before the end of the year. There are at least a few other sites mashing geotagging with Flickr.

Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetWith only a week before leaving USA, Julia and I went to REI for the first time yesterday. We had a wedding gift certificate from Flock. REI is great! It is similar to Canada's Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC). Julia and I got matching mummy bags that zip together.I was not familar with vertical brief cases. From reading your and Laughing Squid's posts "The Blogger" *sic* sounds like a great bag, and I want to try a vertical some time. Vertical seems natural if you are not carrying folders and paper. A water bottle carry is a must.
