China: as I understand based on discussions with multiple Firefox internationalizes/localizers, the origin of the lack of market share was technology. US technology embargoed from China and the inertia in providing an alternative. This meant IE was the only choice, and then Maxthon came along. It will be hard to displace local Maxthon as the "install yourself" browser.

I am as surprised as some of your other comments. Firefox on TV? "Get your lazy butt off the couch. Install Firefox 2!"I don't want any virii. With IE 7, to everyday people, Firefox is NOT a better, more usable, safer web browser. Cooler? Maybe, but Microsoft has moves there as well.If you do want to talk business, marketing does not seem nearly as interesting to me as distribution. I trust there are a lot, lot more channels then just the GY and Nike.

Robert, won’t one post have been enough on your displeasure with LinkedIn? Now, three really is the limit, ok? ;-)

My interest in what blogger integrity means influenced me in writing Who is TechAddress?. TechAddress is a WordPress.com hosted blog doing a lot of interviews with start up leaders while the blog author is mostly anonymous.

The implication is not clear to me. It could be that there is more good gratis documentation for Python and Perl.

Find working in the text area (form fields) is the single most important feature in Firefox 2 for me. It really is the little things.

Hi Robert,

Have you considered adding the Akismet widget to your sidebar to show off just how much SPAM never sees the light of day?

Cheers,

Looks gorgeous! Julia and I never made it to that park. Are favorite park has been Rancho San Antonio, though it is quite busy.I would be surprised if Flickr does not have geotagging before the end of the year. There are at least a few other sites mashing geotagging with Flickr.

Google has a record of doing the “right thing” far more regularly than Microsoft or Apple.

With only a week before leaving USA, Julia and I went to REI for the first time yesterday. We had a wedding gift certificate from Flock. REI is great! It is similar to Canada's Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC). Julia and I got matching mummy bags that zip together.I was not familar with vertical brief cases. From reading your and Laughing Squid's posts "The Blogger" *sic* sounds like a great bag, and I want to try a vertical some time. Vertical seems natural if you are not carrying folders and paper. A water bottle carry is a must.

Co.mments is actually the one I currently prefer, because of the quality of the news feed it creates: full comment, clear authorship, and ease of getting back to the blog post.
