“All the cool kids have stickrs. Except Patrick. He is such an Apple fan boy that he thinks that defiling an Apple product by putting a stickr on it is sacrilegious.”

Aaaahhh. Great, Patrick! Then there’s hope for the future generation! Your dad says “all the cool kids have stickers” - but it should have been “all the 30 and 40 year old men that tries too hard to be cool have stickers”.

Do I put brightly colored stickers on my car? No. On my house? No. TV? No. iPod? No. Stereo? No. So why on earth on the laptop?

Stickers on your laptop are plain ugly.

188 weeks ago Oyvind on Bad hosting day blog

I have been with Dreamhost for a year or so, and my site has been offline for almost a day once, and a few hours three times. I have a script that automatically checks the status every 15 minutes, and it has reported my site offline 14 times this year. 10 of them reported it back up again the next time it checked so it could be just traffic. The last two were about an hour and two hours, the last one my bad as I had messed with the htaccess files too much.

So: A day and a half in total? Probably less. And most of this was the outages they report in the blog.

1.5 days of 365, that’s about 99.6 uptime. It seems like Del.icio.us and Flickr has been more offline than that during the same period…

Hm. I think most of the ones suggested so far look plain ugly (except maybe the Lovesac). But that’s just me. I would suggest a couple of Stokke Peel. Inspired by an orange peel.

Robert wrote: “Why didn’t anyone write a headline like “MSN goes after Outlook?” Hmmmm? A little Google love going on in the blogosphere? What’s behind that love?”

Maybe because people see MSN and Outlook as the same company?

It’s also news because it tries to break the near-monopoly MS has on mail clients in large organizations. Maybe Robert has numbers, but I would think the % of large corporations that run Exchange and Outlook is large.
