Reply | Original | Permalink | TweetI haven’t decided yet about a church job. There are some aspects of the job I really enjoy, and some that I find persistently challenging. I also really love warriormare’s parish here and am looking forward to being a part of it. When I get my work authorization, I may try to get my name out there for supply work. And there may be positions out there which would play to my strengths.
In short, that’s something I intend to think about over the next few months. And when I’m able to work in this country, we’ll see how I’m feeling about continuing that part of my life.

You’re lucky you’re in hopsital, Mister, because it makes me rethink any response that’d put you back there again!
Glad that things are looking up for you…I’m sure your own clothes are a help and glad that things are looking up a bit. Hope they spring you out soon!

It’s one thing I really miss when I go to church here. (Funny enough, the other is the start of the service, where the BAS uses The Grace instead of the “Blessed be God…” response.)
Praying for you and hoping things keep looking up for you.

I hate "analogies" that are not analogous.

I’ve always been in favour of maintaining the Governor General and the Crown in Canada, but if this isn’t an abuse of Prime Ministerial authority that requires the Governor General to stand up to him and deny his request, I’m not sure there’s any reason not to abolish the position.

What may lag (at least in the short-term) is viewer interest, at least until they realize that The Daily Show is still funny.
