Oh, right...

Happy Birthday!

Does it feel genuine when all you do is send a quick poke or facebook wall post about someone's birthday? Do you love receiving them, or feel inundated after you get the 23rd well-wishing?

I'm just not sure how I feel about the matter, though of course, it's infinitely easier if all of your peeps are on Facebook.

I just find that I usually send birthday cards to my close friends, and being notified by Facebook doesn't really increase the amount of people I say HBMF! to. Maybe it increases my total birthday wish giving by 10-15 people.

I feel like I'm cheating by sending e-cards. I don't know, this is a long-running debate amongst friends.

Maybe they should do a "Girl geek that loves herself so much she uploads pics of herself to the web every day" vote-a-thon?

Hey Julia,

Just wanted to point out the hashtag is actually #TCOT, not #TOCT

Merry Christmas and blessings for a Happy New Year. =)

She should go on America's Got Talent. She reminds me of Bianca Ryan from that show, but much prettier.

Im thinking I may have been tweet bombed as well, I've had a massive increase in follows in the last couple of days. Now I'm trying to contain everything so I can maintain some control.

Awesome. Did you see the initial tweetbomb request? Obviously whoever started it had to send out a tweet to their network - and I'm assuming you were part of that network.

I know, she's only 10, but you asked...

She's got pipes for only being 10 but she's got to get that vibrato under control and she tends to be pitchy when she needs air (understandably), and she's WAY over coached.

The heavy coaching is cutesy and all, but it is also unnatural (and frankly, a little disturbing) for a 10 year old to emote like an 'experienced' R&Ber.; What next, a bikini, heels, and tights?

She's got potential, though. I wish her the best of luck. Might want to start her anti-drug education early, too. Rejection is going to hit her very hard if so many people keep telling her how amazing she is...

Tweet Week, the clothing line?!?

Re Google Reader, I'm still finding that it takes forever to refresh my shared items. Because of this, I end up deleting things from my shared items after a day or two (FriendFeed is therefore the official repository of my Google Reader shared items).

to jessica,

This performance was for a local theatre fund raiser. morgan was the narrator who had "lost" her way while different performers sang and danced unexpected numbers on her journey to find her home. This is why she was able to have so much "fun" with this beloved classic when it was her time to sing. : ) mom

That's crazy amazing. Was this for the actual play, or some kind of talent show?

I'm also interested to know how many hits it's gotten thus far!

That's too funny! Thanks for sharing it! :)

Holy crap! I've got chills! That sweet kid is AMAZING! The BOMB DIGGITY!!!

Whoa she goes all Aretha Franklyn all of a sudden! I was not expecting that type of range and soul from that little sweet girl. AWESOME. I wish my talent show performances when I was a kid were on YouTube. These kids are so lucky.

I love that the audience was so into it...she's incredibly talented and sounds like a little Joss Stone.
