Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetI never thought that tagging is that important, so I usually set genre to 'Funk'. Perhaps from now on I'll use only 'podcast' as a genre for all my podcasts.
By the way ID3 v1 doesn't have such a genre so it may be a problem if someone uses old software.

Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetIt seems that US has a better electoral system
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetI agree that there are problems with the electoral system.
But in a three party system, the party with the greatest number is the winner! How else do you solve it? Have the actual PM on the ballot? Maybe that's the solution! Otherwise I don't see any other way to slice it except the guy leading party with the most seats is the PM.
Yes 62% of the people didn't vote for Harper but, would a majority vote to have a coalition government?
And how is a coalition better? Because they MIGHT be able to make decisions? Nothing is making them vote the same way! Harper can't get things done because the Liberals have been blocking his every move.
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetLet me say that the largest issue with Canadian politics is the electoral system; in order for it to be an actual democracy we need proportional representation.
With that said I would argue that we did not elect the Conservative party into power. 62 % of voters did not choose Harper and/or the Conservatives, simple facts.
"The opposition may not be “confident” in a Harper Government but that isn’t necessarily representative of what “we” want. "
If our elected representatives do in-fact represent the people of this nation than that is what "we" want, 62% of the nation put their confidence in people that are not Harper and the conservative.
Do I agree with what is being done, no I don't, BUT, it is a far better option than letting a minority government (that happens to be conservative) make decisions (or a lack of decisions) for this country.

Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | Tweetthe expense of getting a private box and yet our largest competitor, at likely more the 50 times our gross sales, can do it. I attribute it to the fact that the only people there that can authorize that size of a one time expense don’t care or can’t see the value in the 10 or so companies
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetI totally agree with your post and the expert bit always winds me up, we never stop learning from all people no matter if they are a missionary in japan or a single mom who is struggling to stay off welfare..... I have built a team that have entrusted me to deliver for them... I have 10 happy bloggers that ere not blogging before and together we all make one great expert toward our goal of freedom and choice. thanks for a great post, its good to see good honest people come out of the internet...
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetWow, you are totally echoing my exact sentiments here. In fact, I've said some of the stuff you have verbatim -- sm is too new for anybody to be an "expert" ... it seems like suddenly everybody's an expert, but if everybody's on the same level of expertise, then they're really just average, aren't they?
Truth is that we are all still learning. I may have more of a handle on SM than Person X, but Person Y may know more than I do. I think it takes a wiser person to admit that they're still a student of their preferred discipline (regardless of what it is) than to proclaim themselves an "expert."
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetThanks so much for this video blog! This put a smile on all of our faces here at Akoha, not just because we were able to see the initial reaction once someone's received a starterkit, but we're also just very happy that you received yours. Thanks again for the kind words Bill :)
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetI think it's great that you're using Akoha to pass this along. This is the type of play that we had in mind when we launched. Good luck!
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetThat is so cool! The other day I watched a movie, I can't remember what it was called, and it was based in the late 1700's I think. Royalty in Europe would get gifts from India, and some of them were this tea. The one I saw was a flower petal instantly opening up in a cup the moment hot water is poured. But this is cool! I like it! :)
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetEvery year we take out daughter to Ukrainian camp in London, ON for a week. We have the same fear all week that you had during podcamp. Actually, we fear the whole phone. I turn it off so that ATT does not charge me $3.00 per minute, or whatever the crazy charge is. At many places in downtown Detroit I get a Rogers signal, which makes me fear what while show up on my bill. When you live so close to an international border, there should be a better option.

The latest version of SYNC comes with the Sirius Travel Link option with GPS. That features:
* Real-time traffic information for over 78 markets.
* Coast-to-coast weather conditions and up to five-day forecasts.
* Gas prices offered from approx. 120,000 station locations.
* Movie times, synopses and cinema locations for some 4,500 theaters.
* Sports score reporting of the NFL, MLB, NHL, NASCAR®, PGA GOLF and college sports, including football and basketball.I know most people that see it like the ability to find the cheapest gas prices. :-)
In addition, the new version of SYNC will have 911 Assist, which will use your phone (not a subscription service) to call 911 in the event of an accident; and Vehicle Health Reports that will track over 2 dozen systems and let you know via text or email when your vehicle needs to be serviced. If you have any other questions about the SYNC system or any of Ford's products or technologies, feel free to let me know.
