Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetYes i was also an ardent fan of Noggin the Nog and used to wait eagerly to watch it. This show had so many of my childhood memories attached to it. A few years back i also bought a DVD of the same. I also admired its creator Oliver Postgate and would like to pay my online tributes to his soul.

Long live the UC!
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetDude have you even read the code? Your just a negative person and have no idea and should not be blogging comments like that. There is ALOT of good stuff in this application and I for one am happy with their reasons for releasing the code - so that REAL developers can learn more. And if it happens to gain traction there is no reason why US developers can make it better eg contributing Admin functionality etc.

Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetVistaprint is terrible. I used their template for a custom designed business card. Three times I went back and forth with their customer service. All three times Vistaprint screwed up the job. Don’t waste your time and money. Vistaprint is absolutely the worst.

Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetJackie, thanks for the kind comment.
I would say that the super’s response to most points made was along the lines of: we’re listening to you - and also to those who disagree. She certainly wasn’t there to be pushed into a K-8 corner, or into any specific corner or commitment.
By the way, the strongest expression of desire for more K-8s came from Councillor Tobin. That’s the way it seemed to me, anyway.
I do hope that others who were at the meeting will chip in, even if - especially if - their impressions were different from mine. And if you’ve written up your own account, or if you know of another online account, please let me know so that I can link to it.
Reply | Original | Permalink | Share | TweetThanks for this account. I also was not able to attend this meeting, but really wanted to be present. I am concerned that the district interprets parents concerns about middle school options as a desire for more K-8s. While this could work, I would like to see more possibilities explored. So I am glad to see the range of issues/solutions that were raised at the meeting. What, if anything, was the district’s response to any of them?

I prefer Threadless more than their competitors such as DBH because of the tees concepts..
It heppened to me as well that some people stopped me at the street and were asking about my tee..
