[I hope I don't have to bring in a gumshoe...]

I also find that I usually spend more time editing, tweaking, and posting than I do actually writing.

Typically, I spend several hours on the weekend writing posts, then use them during the week. I have been a little lazy these last two weeks though…

@ROTUS: One way to keep “apprised” is to bookmark our blog carnival index page. Please feel encouraged to a submit a post to the next one. It should publish around mid-month if we get as many posts as last time.

Since most of you were either away on beer runs, taxi-duty or passed out in the corner (those shall remain nameless of course) I’d like to point out that no one has any real proof of who actually used the can opener or the tin snips.

Some of us have taken a while to recover from the experience.

3. What is the least useful thing you bought in a sale?…… some carrot chopper gadget ..reduced to £1.99
4. Have you ever bought Christmas presents in the January sales?… of course if I see a bargain I put it in the pressy cupboard
5. Have you ever bought something because it was in the sales and yet never used it?…. yep gorgeous pair of Jasper Conran boots…. they are cripplers… oh also see 3

3. A automatic wine bottle cork remover!
4. Hmmm, If I say yes does that make me sound cheap?
5. Not yet! But there is still time

In the present climate I think that these questions really should be changed

1. Have you bought anything recently that wasn’t in a sale, if so what was the most expensive?
2. Have you discovered any shop that hasn’t got a queue and if you have please send me a discreet email?
3. What is the least useful thing you bought in a sale? [this one can stand but you can't include a foot spa]
4. Do you believe there will be a Christmas this year and if so on what date?
5. Have you ever bought something recently that wasn’t in a sale, changed your mind and decided to return it only to find the shop no longer exists …….. or is that just me?

This is going to be an extremely interesting year ……. when the going gets tough, the tough have a little sit down,a bit of a think, a cup of tea and then do as they’re told - it works for me - tee hee.
